About the Journal

Applied Health Research, Innovation & Education (AHRIE) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, immediate open-access scientific journal published by Empresa de Capacitación Internacional ECI S.C. through its editorial imprint, ECI Scientific Publishing, Ecuador.

The journal publishes research on health and disease; prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation; individual, population, public, and community health; health innovation and technology; health professions education; biomedical, food, and translational sciences related to health; health systems, services, and policies; and knowledge translation.

AHRIE accepts manuscripts in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. It gives particular attention to Latin America and Ibero-America while welcoming contributions of global relevance.

The journal uses a double-anonymous peer-review process and a continuous publication model. Editorial decisions are made independently and are not influenced by financial, institutional, commercial, or personal interests.
