Funding, Advertising, Sponsorship, and Direct Marketing

Publisher and Funding

Applied Health Research, Innovation & Education (AHRIE) is published by Empresa de Capacitación Internacional ECI S.C. through its publishing imprint, ECI Scientific Publishing.

During its initial stage, the journal’s editorial and technological operations are funded primarily through institutional resources provided by the publisher. The current publication fees and charges policy is publicly available on the journal’s website.

In the future, AHRIE may receive grants, institutional contributions, donations, sponsorships, or other legitimate forms of support. Relevant funding sources will be publicly identified when applicable.

Editorial Independence

Funding sources, sponsors, advertisers, and collaborating organizations have no influence over manuscript selection, peer review, editorial decisions, or the interpretation of published findings.

Acceptance and rejection decisions are based exclusively on the quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, ethical integrity, and thematic suitability of manuscripts.

The existence or absence of payments, financial support, or commercial relationships does not influence these decisions.

Advertising

During its initial stage, AHRIE does not publish paid commercial advertising. If the journal decides to accept advertising in the future, it must meet the following criteria:

• Advertisements must be clearly identified and kept separate from scientific and editorial content.

• Advertising must not be linked to the acceptance, rejection, or preferential placement of any article.

• Advertisements must not contain misleading, unverifiable, discriminatory, or unethical claims.

• Advertising must not compromise the journal’s independence, credibility, or scientific reputation.

• Advertisements must not be presented as an endorsement of products, services, or institutions by AHRIE.

• Advertisements must not be selected using individual profiles or sensitive data concerning reader behavior.

Any future decision to accept advertisements will be made by the publisher, with the involvement of the Editor-in-Chief when potential ethical or editorial conflicts require assessment.

Sponsorship and Funded Content

Any sponsorship associated with special issues, supplements, academic activities, or other content will be clearly disclosed. The sponsor’s role and any potential conflicts of interest will also be reported.

Sponsors may not control the selection of authors, editors, or reviewers; alter results or conclusions; prevent the publication of unfavorable information; or condition editorial decisions.

Direct Marketing

Promotional communications and invitations to submit manuscripts will be appropriate, selective, and unobtrusive.

All information disseminated about AHRIE, its publisher, services, indexing, metrics, fees, or editorial processes must be truthful, verifiable, and not misleading.

AHRIE will not guarantee the acceptance or publication of manuscripts and will not claim indexing, recognition, or metrics that have not been officially confirmed.

Updates and Transparency

This policy will be updated if the journal’s financial model, revenue sources, or advertising, sponsorship, or marketing practices change.

Any changes will be publicly communicated and will not affect the independence of the editorial process.
